Employers are currently seeking bids for apprenticeship programmes from colleges. In this competitive process, a bid needs to have the winning edge. This workshop is an interactive session, allowing delegates to learn more about how to enhance their results and minimise their time input when bidding for tenders. The workshop is aimed at staff who are likely to be involved in putting together competitive bids, tenders or proposals on behalf of a college. These bids can be for funding or contracts for services.

This workshop will be an interactive session, allowing delegates to learn more about how to enhance their results and minimise their time input when bidding for tenders. Writing bids takes time, effort, patience…and sometimes creativity. In our experience those responsible for responding to bids within FE colleges need to juggle this responsibility with their day job, which can make the whole process challenging and stressful. This workshop is designed to:

  • make the most of the time spent on bid writing
  • reduce the pressure
  • increase your win rates

Objectives

  • Understand the key elements of a best practice bid process
  • Gain knowledge to improve bid writing skills
  • Understand what it takes to win a competitive tender
  • Learn how you can take the strain out of the bidding process

Benefits

  • Improve success rates
  • Reduce the time spent on bidding
  • Increase return on investment
