There are constant pressures on efficiency and cost savings across the college sector and it is your responsibility as HR professionals to manage how these changes impact upon your workforce and organisation.

The newly combined AoC HR and Employment Law Conference and Exhibition brings together experts to talk about the latest best practices and new approaches. The conference is a facilitator for ideas, where HR professionals across the country come together to share best practices and discuss new initiatives covering both HR issues and employment law through the use of topic-specific streams.

Benefits of attending:

  • Examine the role and position of HR as a strategic driver of transformation. Hear from Jo Maher Principal at Boston College about their key drivers to success and the role of HR in shaping that.
  • Debra Corey author, speaker and experienced senior HR leader will talk through a rebellious approach to rewards and recognition, giving you some ideas to take back to your college
  • Take advantage of the vast networking opportunities, take the time to connect and share experience with sector colleagues.

Joy Marsden – Due to an illness, Joy is now unable to attend the conference. View a booklet from Joy where she shares 7 Proven Steps to Being Successful Everyday.
Are you struggling to maintain momentum and positive attitudes amongst staff whilst the college goes through a period of change? Here is a blog written by Jo on Motivation and Attitude

NEW for 2019: On the evening prior to the conference, there will be a CPD session focussing on wellbeing with dinner to maximise that all-important networking time.

What did our previous delegates say?

“This is an excellent event – an opportunity to network with other HR professionals in the sector and get an update on employment law and how it is relevant to us.”

“The AOC Conference was a great opportunity to network with like minded HR professionals. The speakers were inspirational and I’ll be taking back lots of new things to my college.”
