The AoC Ofsted Conference will feature key guidance from Ofsted following the publication of the Chief Inspectors Annual Report and share insight into the thinking behind the forthcoming 2019 common inspection framework.

The conference will also hear from a recently inspected college who will share how they have demonstrated significant improvement and innovative strategies on their road to improvement in their most recent inspection. Breakout sessions throughout the day will share good practice and explore the evidencing that inspectors would expect to see in relation to apprenticeships, subcontracting and evaluating learner progress.

Benefits of attending…

  • Hear the thinking behind the forthcoming 2019 common inspection framework along and discuss and inform the new policy framework directly with Ofsted
  • Gain information on the latest trends emerging from recent inspections
  • Learn how to lead your colleagues through future Ofsted inspections and discuss the best ways of working with the inspection team
  • Network and share ideas with colleagues from around the country

What did previous delegates say?

This was a great event, definitely worth the time, and most of the speakers were really interesting. It’s great to hear what’s going on in the rest of the sector, which I rarely get time to have a look at. Thank you
Louise Jones, Deputy Principal, BMet

Informative and definitely thought provoking.
Hilda Koon, Assistant Principal, The Manchester College

An informative and valuable day for all providers in inspection window, valuable from the very start to the very end.
Karen Wilson, Deputy Principal, Lakes College

The range of speakers on the day ensured that the real challenges faced by the sector were considered from a solution-based perspective which will have a significant impact on the day job.
Craig Tupling, Assistant Principal – Quality, Student Experience and Higher Education, Kirklees College
