Entry to Management

Helping new and aspiring managers kick-start their careers.

This programme focuses on the challenges faced by first-line managers in the FE sector. From juggling conflicting pressures to managing former peers, this is the ideal introduction to a management role.

The programme consists of three modules, which are intended to be taken as a whole package, but can also be taken individually if preferred. It is not accredited, meaning that there are no essays, exams or assignments, so it won’t add to your already heavy workload.

Module 1: Managing People and Performance

Module 2: Maintaining and Improving Quality through Periods of Change

Module 3: Developing Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Inclusivity in Organisations, and Improving Community Engagement
